Intro to project and brand

This fictional campaign was created for The Shoebox Project for Women, an organization that supports women experiencing or at risk of homelessness by providing gift-filled shoeboxes containing toiletries, cozy accessories, and small luxuries. These thoughtful boxes bring comfort, dignity, and a sense of being valued. The campaign concept focuses on encouraging community involvement by showcasing how easy it is to create a shoebox and emphasizing the profound impact this small act of kindness can have.

Building Blocks

The Build A Box campaign was inspired by a more crafty and hands on aesthetic reflecting the personal touch of one of these donations. The campaign fits into the organizations existing brand through the use of some of their key brand colours, fonts and as well as their logo assets. The campaign was also created by hand by yours truly, using my own photography and practical stop motion animation.

Putting It All Together

The Build A Box campaign successfully helps in inspiring community involvement by highlighting the simplicity and impact of creating a shoebox donation. Its handcrafted, hands-on aesthetic reflected the personal care behind each gift, resonating with the heartfelt mission of The Shoebox Project for Women. By seamlessly integrating the organization’s brand elements—colors, fonts, and logo assets—while incorporating original photography and stop-motion animation, the campaign felt authentic and approachable. This thoughtful approach not only aligned with the organization’s values but also effectively encouraged participation, emphasizing how small, meaningful acts can foster kindness and empowerment for women in need.
